Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research was established in the tradition of excellence in the year 2011. It is one-of-its-kind B-School that influences managerial and administrative practices by creating new frontiers of knowledge and developing entrepreneurial skills to nurture socially sensitive leader-managers enriching them through multidisciplinary and cross-functional approaches. 

At SRBS, we have a strong emphasis on imparting quality management education where skills are taught & honed and talent is activated from a latent state. Our objective is to ignite their mind, stir up questions and inspire solutions. We teach, groom and mentor students to lead from the front and take charge. Our two-year postgraduate programme, Masters in Management Studies (MMS) is the soul of the B-School. The course is extremely popular for imparting quality business education, based on the best pedagogic practices. The thrust is on strong foundations, based on conceptual and analytical reasoning. The mandate is to build leaders through holistic, transformative and innovative education.

MMS has four functional specializations – Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations. Students study 16 subjects in their first year and choose their specialization on the basis of their area of interest, aptitude, skills and professional exposure during summer internship. Second year students have 14 subjects, which consists of specialization and university papers. Academic rigor is the hallmark of MMS at SRBS and along with curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are consciously encouraged. 

Our emphasis of experiential learning helps them cope with distinctive challenges of managing in the global context. Projects, action-oriented courses, contemporary studies and student self-governance initiatives help develop critical thinking and leadership skills. We offer add-on courses like Microsoft Excel, Digital Marketing, Wealth Management, and personal grooming.

Curriculum

The core curriculum of MMS emphases on developing skills and knowledge in various areas. After successfully completing the first year, the students undertake summer internship of 2 months in various companies. 

Second year students choose their specialization that suits their interest. Case studies, lectures, group and individual exercises, class projects, student presentations, etc., are used to deliver the courses. Many courses bring in industry experts to integrate classroom learning with industry practice.
