Master Class – HR Professionals, the Essence and Scope, Post Pandemic

Sheila Raheja School of Business Management and Research in collaboration with Bombay Management Association (BMA) had organized a Master Class “HR Professionals, the Essence and Scope, Post Pandemic” on 15th July 2022 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The session was attended by the First year MMS students.

The speaker of the session Capt Amit K Sanyal, Indian Navy Veteran, emphasized on the Indian economy which has shown a positive growth from 2.1% in an all-time low in March 2021 to 3.1%. He also highlighted that the economy has proven to be resilient, dynamic, and versatile, post-pandemic yet there are challenges in paving a path for the future. The question lies in an analytical assessment of the country’s strengths and weaknesses, aiming to maximize its position in the global scenario. He stated that one of the biggest assets is the large human capital but therein lies our biggest challenge. HR professionals, as the backbone of their companies, can gainfully contribute to bridge the gap between India’s position as a developing nation to developed nation status. Total 59 students attended the session.
