On September 21, 2022,Sheila Raheja School Of Business Management And Research (SRBS) organized a webinar on “Powerful Careers in the Digital World” hosted by London School of Business. The webinar was coordinated and organized by the Learning Resource Management, Convener Prof. Deepa Manoj.
The objective of this session was to create awareness amongst the students about the key areas of the digital world and the digital transformation based on the current trends in the market. The webinar was attended by both the SRBS post graduate (MMS) and undergraduate(BMS & BMMC) management students. The session broadly covered the following points:
- Understanding the key areas of Digital Marketing
- Blogging Overview
- Digital Marketing Trends 2022-23 and strategies to be applied
- UK based remote Internships (paid/unpaid)
The webinar lasted for about 75 mins through Zoom Link – https://www.lsdb.co.uk/events.html. It was an Interactive session, following a structured process of information exchange.
The session began with the speaker Mr. Sachin Parekh who briefed the attendees about their careers in the digital world based on their respective specializations. He also provided an overview about the Blog and importance of digital internship for the management students and how it will be helpful in their career growth.
During the webinar the attendees raised several questions. Some of them were :
- How to measure whether their digital transformation was successful? – Rahul Gawde
- How can businesses continue to optimize and what should their shifted priorities be in the digital world? – Dimple Malhotra
- What is the probability that the management student will be successful in the digital world? Is this digital business scalable? – Vimit Kundra
Key outcomes of the session:
- Participants understood the fundamentals of digital marketing, blogs and internship.
- To judge on how to measure the success of digital transformation
- Participants were familiar with how to continue to scale and optimize the business through shifted priorities in the digital world.
- Participants could list the global careers in the digital world and also how to get a paid internship in a remote way ticket to UK based internship (remote) and also how to impart skill.
