The BMS department of Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research (SRBS) organized Guest speaker session Program titled “Decoding Budget 2023” for the students on 4th March 2023. The objective of this program was to acquaint the students about the recent Union Budget which was tabled in the parliament on 1st February 2023 and also to the make them conversant with the impact and its applicability in real life with respect to Assessment Year & Financial Year.
The Guest session comprised of Speaker Mr. Mangesh Kadam Practicing Chartered Accountant and Keynote Speaker CA Santosh Ghag,The program commenced with the felicitation of the speaker& keynote speaker by Dr. H.J.Bhasin, Director in the presence of Course Co-coordinator Prof. Pradeep Singh, Prof. Roger D’mello and Dr Prasad Supekar and fellow students. A total of 68 students participated in this program. The event was a great success and students gained knowledge about the Budget insight.
To make the event even more fruitful the speaker & key note speaker made it an interactive session with the inception of FAQ type session, wherein the questions on behalf of students were asked by the keynote speaker & it was answered by the speaker. Through such enactment, the guest speaker’s guided the audience on the importance of the Union Budget, which really made the session more interesting & cherish able one.
The speaker also highlighted the importance of understanding about the VUCA world &various challenges with regards to budget, Indian economy & Global economy, also how to transform from Volatility to Vision, Uncertainty to Understanding, Complexity to Clarity & Ambiguity to Agility.
