Institute Innovation Council (IIC) session on “How to plan for Start-up and legal & Ethical Steps”

SRBS successfully hosted the IIC session on “How to plan for Start-up and legal & Ethical Steps” on July 26th 2022. The event was conducted through Google meet and attended by faculty staff and students of MMS and BMS.

Dr. Vikas Gite
Assistant Professor at North Maharashtra University

Dr. Vikas has more than ten years of teaching and research experiences in the field of polymer synthesis and Nano materials. He has wide experience in using various organic/material chemistry laboratory equipment including FTIR, GC, DSC, TGA, UV-Vis, Tensile testing, Branbender plastograph, Brookfield viscometer, etc.

Specialties: Renewable source based polyurethane coatings Nano composites of inorganic fillers and polymers new polymeric shells for encapsulation.

Event Participation:
64 participants included faculty members and students.

Technical Session
The objective of the session is was to bring awareness about Legal and Ethical Steps for faculties, students and the Entrepreneur community. The session explained the basics of startups, including its initiation, raising funds, legal and ethical aspects of startups. The session was of great benefits for all the young innovators who are planning for their startup and business. The session boosted their motivation to the next. The objective of this session was to help the students to incubate the idea and to turn it into a startup. And also to provide pointers to entrepreneurs and to guide them how to get seed funding’s, various grants and all the requirements to get started with the startup.
