The Student Council of Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research (SRBS) organized competitions on the occasion of “Marathi Bhasha Sanvardhan Pandharwada” for the BMS & MMS department of SRBS on 24th January 2023. The purpose of holding various competitions was to preserve Marathi language and to aware students about Marathi. The event started in the presence of Dr. H. J. Bhasin and Prof. Vaikhari Patil. The competitions were judged by Prof. Vikas Pande, Dr. Vrushal Khade and Prof. Umesh Kantute. The entire event was hosted by Rohit Baisane, the President of Student Council and was coordinated by teacher In-charge of the event Prof. Vaikhari Patil.

The event was a great success and students gained knowledge about Marathi literature.
Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research celebrated Marathi Bhasha Diwas on 23rd February, 2023, the actual day being celebrated on annually 27th February, to honour the birth anniversary of famous Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, who was popularly known as ‘Kusumagraj’.
The celebrations began with the traditional Lezim performance. Following it, invoking the blessings of the almighty, lighting of the lamp was done by our esteemed Director and Faculties. Dr. H. J. Bhasin, (Director), welcomed and greeted the audience for participating in the celebrations. The MMS and BMS students had put up wonderful performances. This included dance performances and songs. Through an enactment, the students guided the audience on the importance of the day. The performances also included poems in Marathi that were penned down by the students themselves. The audience was enthralled by the performances and gave a wonderful presence and appreciation throughout the event.
