Yoga is about awakening, it’s an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. 21stJune – It’s the longest day of the calendar year, a day connected with Sun, light and nature and not a day of personal importance. This year’s theme for International Yoga Day 2023 – “Yoga for VasudhaivaKutumbakam” aptly describes our aspiration for ‘One Earth One Family One Future’.
Sheila Raheja School of Business Management and Research, Sheila Raheja Institute of Hotel Managementand L S Raheja School of Architecture have collectively celebrated “International Yoga Day” on 21st June 2023.All participants and staff member were assembled in the Raheja Education Complex – Ground Floor Auditoriumto celebrate “International Yoga Day”at 9.00 am to 10.00 am, so as to ensure that the practice session is conducted in the most conducive manner even for the novice participant.
Experience yoga instructor,Mr. IshankRaghupatenarrated the usefulness of Meditation, Pranayaams, Asanasforthe overall wellbeing of a human beings. Around 81 participants actively participated in the session.Dr. Harish
