Introduction: We celebrate Ozone Day, also known as the World Ozone Day for the preservation of the Ozone Layer, to raise awareness and commemorate the importance of protecting the Earth’s ozone layer. This annual event, observed on September 16th, serves as a reminder of why the ozone layer matters and why it’s essential to continue our efforts to preserve it.
Event Briefing:  The “Ozone Day” event at SRBS was a successful celebration. The ozone layer is a region in the Earth’s stratosphere that contains a relatively high concentration of ozone (O3) molecules. It plays a crucial role in protecting life on our planet by absorbing and blocking harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun.
Slogans and Expressions:  During the event, slogans and expressions were chanted by the students to express their sentiments“Earth without the ozone layer is like a house without a roof, Save the Ozone layer.”
Conclusion:We celebrate Ozone Day to recognize the progress made in preserving the ozone layer, to educate the public about its significance, and to emphasize the ongoing need for global cooperation in safeguarding this vital layer of protection for our planet. By celebrating this day, we reaffirm our commitment to a sustainable and healthier future for all. The unity and enthusiasm of the students from DLLE and the Green Club, creating an inspiring and memorable experience for all who attend.
