Report on Blood Donation Drive organized at SRBS in association with Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) to commemorate ‘75 Years of Indian Independence: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’
Sheila Raheja School of Business Management and Research (SRBS) in association with Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, organized a “Blood Donation Drive” on 3rd August 2022 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The campaign was aimed to create awareness about Blood Donation as a new way of leading life and support the cause of cancer patients, battling for life at Tata Memorial Hospital. The drive was in perfect alignment with the philosophy of Raheja Group to create socially responsible and future-ready professionals, who are currently studying in different courses run by the B-School.
The Management of SRBS supported the efforts of the Leadership Team who worked tirelessly towards the success of the event. Students participated with enthusiasm to spread the good word amongst stakeholders and other Institutions operating on the same premises. Students from LSR School of Architecture( LSR) & Sheila Raheja Institute of Hotel Management(SRIHM) also participated in good numbers to support the noble cause. The efforts of SRBS Management were appreciated by the representatives of Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), doctors and nursing staff members of TMH Team.
As India celebrates 75 years of Independence on 15 August 2022, this event was an important component and milestone achieved at SRBS to commemorate ‘75 Years of Indian Independence: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. It emerged as a perfect tribute to those who fought for the independence of India. It was a mark of reverence of SRBS towards the nation. The effort resulted in 75 Units of Blood being collected in the College Auditorium on 3.8.2022. It also helped the B-School to sensitize its stakeholders towards the cause of Blood Donation and serve the community in an important and significant way.
