SRBS MMS students went for MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) Visit on 26th April 2023.Visit Started at 1.30 pm. It was a vital event for upliftment of students under the EDC, IIC, and WDC. Students were informed briefly about MSME – its purpose, schemes, entrepreneurial opportunities supported by them. It encourages youngsters to become successful entrepreneurs. MSME creates large-scale employment, Economic stability in terms of Growth and leverage Exports, Encourages Inclusive Growth, Cheap Labor and minimum overhead, Simple Management Structure for Enterprises, The main role in the mission of “Make in India”.

MSME officials gave presentation about facilities and schemes provided by them. They discussed about – Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), 2nd Loan for Up-gradation of the Existing PMEGP/Mudra Units, Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development,Programme (MSE-CDP),National SC-ST Hub Scheme , MSME Competitive LEAN Scheme (MCLS), MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification, MSME Innovative Scheme (Incubation, Design and IPR),  Interest Subsidy Eligibility Certificate (ISEC), Promotion of MSMEs in North Eastern Region and Sikkim, Fund of Funds Scheme for MSMEs: Self Reliant India (SRI) Fund,Credit Support from National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC),Technology and Quality Upgradation Support (TEQUP) for MSMEs, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY).

It was an enriching experience for our students, Under the guidance of  Mr. Abhay Daptardar, Asstt.Director – II, MSME .62 students actively participated in the visit. Sessions was very much informative. It was great opportunity for our students to gain practical insight.
