SRBS successfully hosted the National level HR Conference on the theme ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ on February 25, 2023. Director, Dr. H. J. Bhasin was the Convener and Prof. Deepa Manoj, Prof. Darshana Murkibhavi and Prof. Pradeep Singh were the Conference Co-ordinators of this Conference. Dr. H. J. Bhasin, enlightened the audience about the achievements of the four esteemed speakers and also emphasized on the relevance of the 3 basic essence of D, E& I interpretation, on Vividhata, Vibhinatha and Samavesh of all with the entire focus on the theme of the day ‘Inclusivity with Equity amidst Diversity’

SRBS National Conference on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is all about preparing grounds to revel in collective knowledge and all it takes to be ready for the vagaries of existence, equipped with the best of Work Environment.

The Conference boasts of having esteemed speakers from various reputed organization with diverse experiences, bringing in a plethora of their share of knowledge and creating the most beautiful flora and fauna on the theme of ‘DE&I’ amongst the most vibrant and inquisitive audience.

The speakers of the day:

  1. Keynote Speaker – Ms. Payal Gupta, CEO Director, Celebratory Network Pvt. Ltd.
  2. Ms. Payal Nanjiani, New York Award Winning Author & a Globally Acclaimed Leadership Expert,
  3. Ms. Deepa Kundar, Senior Manager -HR Lead, Mahindra Automotive & Farm Sector.
  4. Ms. Indu Nair, HR Business Partner Bayer Crop Science, at Vapi and Silvassa & Field Testing in R&D.

The second half of the day had various researchers presenting on the several sub themes of the DE&I.

Presenters presented on various Topics such as

  1. Communication strategies for successful diversity, equity and inclusion.
  2. The use of 16 personalities by MBTI to build and empower a diverse workplace.
  3. Multi Generation workforces & Work-life balance
  4. How to build and empower a diverse workforce.
  5. Beyond the Binary: Creating a true inclusivity
  6. Mental Health moving in DEI purview.
  7. Building Benefit packages to attract and support diverse workforce

Mr. Shreyas Mandale, Ms. Siddhi Rathod and Ms. Varsha Shinde bagged the First Prize. The topic of their research was, ‘Beyond the Binary: Creating a true inclusivity.’ While the runners up of this event were. Mr. Rashi Tibrewal and Mr. Tejaswini Rajeshirke on the theme ‘The use of 16 personalities by Myers and Briggs to build and empower a diverse workplace.’ The Director awarded the winners and gave certificates to all the participants. Overall, the august audience found the session very good and informative. They got great insights into the how industry are implementing DEI.
