Accreditation is a systematic process to assure the quality of Management Education. Under this process Business Schools are ranked in various parameters namely Academic excellence, Employability, Student-Faculty ratio, Diversity, International Faculty, Research reputation extra. The expected minimum standards or requirements for each parameter is pre-decided by the experts in the academic and business world. All these parameters are also open for review periodically.

Accreditation is purely voluntary initiative by the Institution. At SRBS, accreditation is a rigorous process of self-evaluation. It gives us clarity about where we stand when compared with other Top Business Schools. Accreditation protects the interests of all the stakeholders of the Business School. It ensures that the programs offered by the accredited business school are meet, exceeds or below the standards of the accreditation bodies either national or international such as NBA in India, AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS extra.

The accreditation process ensures that graduating students from the accredited B-School are suitable for highly competitive roles and responsibilities in the corporate world. Prospective students may use this accreditation as one of the criteria to choose the Business School. For the existing students, accreditation may be helpful to get suitable jobs. Recruiters generally interested to know that the B-School is updating the curriculum in line with the changing need of industry, exposure of the students towards international best practices, reputation of the faculty and their exposure to Industry-relevant Research.

Accrediting bodies expect quality standards related to curriculum, pedagogy, student quality and diversity from Business Schools. Accredited schools in turn the offered programs fulfill the minimum standards required.

SRBS got accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in academic year 2018-19 and also in the process of applying for National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
