Understanding the need to have a formal structure for the alumni-student-faculty-institute relationship, a group of enthusiastic alumni and students, along with faculty members, came together to form an alumni association and registerd it under The Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Institute gladly extended its complete support and identified a space on the campus to facilitate infrastructural support for the Sheila Raheja School of Business Management and Research Alumni Association.
The alumni of Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research (SRBS) have made their alma mater proud by proving themselves as successful professionals in Fortune Global 500 companies such as Accenture, Colgate-Palmolive, HSBC, and among others, Indian multinational companies such as Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, JM Financial and many more.
Alumni gets involved in student development activities by guiding our current students towards forging a successful career. Also, our alumni visits the campus regularly and eagerly gets involved in formal and informal interactions with the students helping them acclimatise to the program and environment that SRBS offers, mentoring them, and providing them insights into the corporate world. They also give inputs for possible changes in the curriculum to our faculty members. Our alumni, who are now industry professionals, have been invited as external examiners to conduct the viva-voce of the students wherein they use this opportunity to guide students on their project report. Our alumni regularly provides recruitment leads for the placements of our current students in the industry and many times recruits the students for the companies they work for.
