BMS Course Fees

For TY BMS Fees – A.Y. 2025-26
Rs. 26279/ – (Rupees Twenty-Six Thousand Two Hundred and Seventy-Nine only).

  1. 1. For students from other boards Eligibility Fees Rs. 300/- and Enrollment Fees Rs. 200/- will be applicable.
  2. 2. Eligible Students belonging to the Reserved Category/ Minority Community can avail Scholarship/Freeship benefits as provided by the State/Central Government.
  3. 3. For Direct Admissions in TYBMS, refundable deposits such as Caution Money, Library and Computer Laboratory: Rs. 2000/- will be applicable.

BMS Course Assessment

The performance of the Bachelor of Management Studies program or BMS course learners at SRBS, which is among the most sought-after BMS colleges in Mumbai, will be evaluated in two components. One of them will be the Internal Assessment component which carries 25% marks and the other will be the Semester-wise End Examination component which carries 75% marks. The marks will be allocated for the Internal Assessment and Semester-End Examinations as shown below:-

Internal Evaluation: 25 Marks (Written test + Active Class participation)

External Evaluation: 75 Marks (Semester End Examination)
i) Duration: The examination shall be of 2 1⁄2 Hours duration
ii) Theory question paper pattern

There shall be five questions each of 15 marks.

All questions shall be compulsory with internal choice within the questions.

Question may be subdivided into sub-questions a, b, c… and the allocation of marks depends on the weightage of the topic.(Detail question paper pattern has been provided in the syllabus copy)

Passing Standard
The BMS course learners to pass shall have to obtain minimum 40% marks in aggregate for each course (comprising Internal Assessment and Semester End Examination.) The learners shall obtain minimum 40% marks (i.e. 10 out of 25) in the Internal Assessment along with 40% marks in Semester-End Examination (i.e. 30 out of 75) to pass the course. They must score at least Grade E to pass a particular semester. A learner will be said to have passed the course if he/she passes the Internal Assessment and Semester End Examination together.

BMS Course Eligibility

Eligibility Criterion for admission (UG/80 of 2010, dated 27th April, 2010)

“A candidate to be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Management Studies Degree Program (i.e. the BMS course) at BMS colleges in Mumbai shall have passed the HSC Examination held by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination or a Diploma course in any Engineering Branch (with 2 or 3 years after SSC) conducted by the Board of Technical Examination or its equivalent examination with minimum 45% (in one attempt) for general category students at the respective examination and 40% (in one attempt) for reserved category students.”

None of the BMS colleges in Mumbai shall conduct any entrance test in any form. The admissions are purely based on merit and duly follow the reservation policy as per the norms of the Government of Maharashtra.

While drawing the merit list for the BMS course, weightage has to be given to students from Arts, Commerce and Science Stream by BMS colleges in Mumbai at 12th Standard level. The stream wise weightage to be given is as under:

Merit List Generation: The applications are to be accepted and processed by the BMS colleges in Mumbai stream wise separately and the merit list is to be displayed stream wise with due consideration to the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra.

The BMS course merit list is to be prepared and displayed stream wise.

In case the colleges receive no BMS course applications under the “Diploma in Engineering and Other Category” or the seats remain vacant after all the merit lists / forms are exhausted, the vacant seats must be transferred to the Commerce Stream.

In case the colleges receive no BMS course application from any one stream, the vacant seats must be distributed equally between the remaining two streams only.

After the first merit list is out, in case any seat allotted to one stream remains vacant, it shall be distributed equally between the remaining two streams. If the number of vacant seats in one stream is single/odd, the single seat is to be allotted to the Commerce Stream. In case no BMS course applications are available from the two streams, then all the vacant seats in the two streams must be transferred to the third stream.
