Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India has taken initiative to establish MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) to encourage inculcating the culture that will foster innovation in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The MIC intends to nurture the entrepreneurial skills among young people, helping and encouraging them to have innovative ideas and converting them to prototypes. MIC has envisioned having Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs) across HEIs in India. To promote innovation, IICs of HEIs are formed for developing proper ecosystem. In Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research (SRBS), IIC has been established in the calendar year 2021- 22.

To develop an institutional system for harnessing the talents and ideas of aspiring student entrepreneurs and converting them into innovative business plans and strategies.
